2021 Scholarship Application

Please select the scholarships you will be applying for. You can apply for more than 1.  Note: All scholarships on the website are not available every year and are based on funding levels.

Section 4: Materials to Upload
All materials must be submitted as a pdf. ·  High School and/or College/University Transcript – Attach a copy of your transcript. (Unofficial is acceptable) ·  Two Letters of Support Provide at least two (2) general letters of support from individuals that can speak to your character, your accomplishments, and your personal and professional pursuits. The letter must be signed, on official letterhead, and/or the appropriate contact information to verify (Name, address, phone number, email) the letter writer. There are special requirements for these specific funds:
Dr. Judith Jackson Scholars Fund Provide 2 letters of recommendation: one from a teacher, counselor or principal and one from organization President or an administrator regarding student’s community service.
Dr. Judith Jackson GEMS Scholarship Attach two letters of recommendation: one from a teacher, counselor or principal and one from a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Detroit Alumnae Chapter who is not a GEMS sponsor
  In addition to the 2 letters of support, the following scholarships require additional documentation, as noted below:
James and Patricia Solomon Memorial Fund A letter from the church verifying the student is a member of Plymouth Congregational Church.
Doris B. Corsey Arnold Child Care Fund Provide evidence of child care expenses from childcare provider.

Applications must be typed; handwritten applications will not be considered.

All applications and supporting documentation must be sent together in one envelope and postmarked by June 1, 2021.
